DESCRIPTION:What is a Nav Scatter?\nTo put it simply\, it’s like a treasure hunt. \nWe run 6 events a year which usually take place on a Friday night and start in a pub or similar venue. \nIf you’re thinking of having a go\, here’s a rundown of how a typical event goes. \nOnce you’re signed on\, between 18:30-19:00\, you’ll read any final instructions and have your mileage taken.\nAt 19:10\, you will receive a sheet of paper with 16 grid references on.\nAs the name Nav ‘Scatter’ may indicate\, crews can visit these 16 plots/points in any order\, meaning there is no set route and entrants are scattered.\nOn arrival at a clue plot\, you will find a piece of card with half a grid reference and code.\nAs you find multiple half references\, you match them up to find the next round of plots and so on until the final clue. Expect to cover around 60 miles. \nThe due time back at the pub is normally 22:00 and points are deducted for lateness. \nEquipment needed:\nMotorsport UK RS Clubman Competition license (free) for driver and passenger \nCamel Vale Motor Club membership\, or invited club \nOS Map or Maps stated in regs\nA Romer\nPencil\nHead torch each \nCar:\nMost cars are eligible to run.\nAlthough there is no route\, roads used are likely to be back lanes and rough in places.\nNo excessively noisey exhausts or multicoloured/sign written cars are permitted.\nYou can run 2x spotlights\, but no light bars. \n  \nRegs Available Here\nEnter Here

Alan is really disappointed as he\, like the organising team\, were looking forward to welcoming a host of new competitors to Camel Vale events. \n  \nWe will reorganise in 2026\, so watch this space! \n********************** \nWe are running a testing trial on Sunday 28th September\, a new venture for Camel Vale Motor Club. Once you stop you score the number ahead of you. DESCRIPTION:A final round of the summer series of Camel Vale Grass Autotests and Production Car Autotests. \n  \nBoth events start at 1100. \n  \nThe Autotest is single occupants in cars\, while the Production Car Autotest allows passengers and drivers as young at 14 in saloon cars. \n  \nWhat do you need:\nMinimum RS Clubman Motorsport UK License \nCamel Vale Motor Club Membership (or invited club) \nTwo wheel drive car with none aggressive tyres \nSense of fun! \nFormat:\nThree simple test sites in one field. Walk and learn the tests prior to driving against the clock. Four attempts\, then learn a second layout and repeat. \n  \nThe only entry for trailered vehicles is as follows: \nFrom Bodmin take the A30 for around 4 miles to the TEMPLE TOR over-bridge junction where you take the slip road just prior to it\, then almost immediately turn left and go across the moor. Ignore the first turning left and continue the same sort of distance again until you come to the hamlet of BRADFORD where there is a very sharp left turn with a road going straight on\, take the left turn and there’s about a 1/4 mile of narrow road again until you get back on the moor. Ignore the next turning left and  go through some house and down a short hill. At the bottom there is a turning right to St. Breward\, ignore this. In about 1/4 mile there is a fork where you go right and in less than 1/4  mile further on turn right into the field. TAKE A WIDE SWEEP HERE. \n  \nIf you had come via Blisland itself you would have approached from the other direction and wouldn’t be able to get a trailer into the field. \nFrom the A30 at Launceston you obviously approach the TEMPLE TOR junction from the other direction\, so go under it and slip off left and almost immediately turn left and follow the previous route. \nAutotest Regs Here\nPCA Regs Here\nEnter Here

DESCRIPTION:  \nFollowing difficulties with access to forestry land over recent years and the loss of some significant single venue trials\, in January 2024 Simon and Emma Groves and Ben Tonkin introduced the Bodmin Heights Trial to the Classic Trials calendar\, a multi-venue road trial using both former single venue locations and new sections in new locations for the trialling world to enjoy. \n  \nThe inaugural event ran with much success\, leading to its addition in the ACTC championship calendar for 2025 and cementing its place in the Camel Vale event calendar. Situated from the crossroads in the middle of Mount\, on the Warleggen Road\, just before the Village Hall on the right.\nSuggested route from West Cornwall direction.\nContinue on A30 for about 4 miles past Bodmin\, passing the two petrol stations fairly close together on the left. Turn left before the flyover and almost immediately turn right and go over the flyover to the T junction\, where left. Pass the Airfield and our regular Autotest field on the left and continue to T junction where left. Continue downhill to the crossroads in Cardinham where straight across. In about 3/4 mile keep right at grass triangle and continue downhill to the river\, ignore the road to the left and then ignore the one to the right as you go uphill. At the top at the multiple junction layout keep straight on\, 2nd exit. Continue to cattle grid ignoring road from right and enter Mount. In the centre of the village at crossroads turn left\, Warleggen\, the field is after the end of the houses on the right and will be arrowed.\nSuggested route from East Cornwall direction.\nContinue past Trago Mills\, then past the Halfway House Inn on your right. In just short of 1/2 mile turn right on a slight right hand bend following this road for about 3 miles\, go straight on at the crossroads into the village of Mount.
