DESCRIPTION:A final round of the summer series of Camel Vale Grass Autotests and Production Car Autotests. \n  \nBoth events start at 1100. \n  \nThe Autotest is single occupants in cars\, while the Production Car Autotest allows passengers and drivers as young at 14 in saloon cars. \n  \nWhat do you need:\nMinimum RS Clubman Motorsport UK License \nCamel Vale Motor Club Membership (or invited club) \nTwo wheel drive car with none aggressive tyres \nSense of fun! \nFormat:\nThree simple test sites in one field. Walk and learn the tests prior to driving against the clock. Four attempts\, then learn a second layout and repeat. \n  \nThe only entry for trailered vehicles is as follows: \nFrom Bodmin take the A30 for around 4 miles to the TEMPLE TOR over-bridge junction where you take the slip road just prior to it\, then almost immediately turn left and go across the moor. Ignore the first turning left and continue the same sort of distance again until you come to the hamlet of BRADFORD where there is a very sharp left turn with a road going straight on\, take the left turn and there’s about a 1/4 mile of narrow road again until you get back on the moor. Ignore the next turning left and  go through some house and down a short hill. At the bottom there is a turning right to St. Breward\, ignore this. In about 1/4 mile there is a fork where you go right and in less than 1/4  mile further on turn right into the field. TAKE A WIDE SWEEP HERE. \n  \nIf you had come via Blisland itself you would have approached from the other direction and wouldn’t be able to get a trailer into the field. \nFrom the A30 at Launceston you obviously approach the TEMPLE TOR junction from the other direction\, so go under it and slip off left and almost immediately turn left and follow the previous route. \nAutotest Regs Here\nPCA Regs Here\nEnter Here

DESCRIPTION:The third of three field (car) trials that the club are hoping to run. \nThe field trial is also a round of the ASWMC Car Trials championship. \nAfter much discussion within the committee we are trialling a new class structure for the event\, where any two wheel drive car can compete from standard road going car to full blown classic trials special. \nWHATS A FIELD TRIAL \nThe aim of a trial is to follow a set course (defined by pairs of poles numbered from twelve at the bottom to one at the top) as far as you can without stopping up a grassy field. Once you stop you score the number ahead of you. Speed is not key\, reading the ground and maintaining traction is. \nUniquely trials are the only form of motorsport that the better you do (further up the hill) the longer the seat time you have!! \nPassengers are optional for drivers with road licenses\, and drivers as young as 14 can also compete. \nWHAT DO YOU NEED \nMinimum RS Clubman Motorsport UK License (for all over 18 occupants) \nCamel Vale Motor Club Membership (or invited club) \nTwo wheel drive car with none aggressive tyres \nSense of fun! \nRegs to Follow\nEntry to follow

Alan is really disappointed as he\, like the organising team\, were looking forward to welcoming a host of new competitors to Camel Vale events. \n  \nWe will reorganise in 2026\, so watch this space! \n********************** \nWe are running a testing trial on Sunday 28th September\, a new venture for Camel Vale Motor Club.
