Duncan Stephens returned to the August Autotest and took the overall win from Bernie Muir despite a handbrake shoe failure on the Saxo. Bernie took three fastest times over the twenty four tests run in Ashley Rundle field in the centre of Mount. The smooth field offered minimal grip levels all afternoon despite the wet grass drying out. Wayne Grimshaw completed the top three, this time returning in the 1800 Corsa having had rear suspension failure on the Nova the week before at another event. The nova still resting on the trailer.
Jemma Hoskin beat club president and dad Roger by thirty seconds, and Charlie Rundle took part in her first event in the PCA under the watchful eyes of her dad in the passenger seat taking the overall win.
