A final round of the summer series of Camel Vale Grass Autotests and Production Car Autotests.

Both events start at 1100.

The Autotest is single occupants in cars, while the Production Car Autotest allows passengers and drivers as young at 14 in saloon cars.

What do you need:

Minimum RS Clubman Motorsport UK License

Camel Vale Motor Club Membership (or invited club)

Two wheel drive car with none aggressive tyres

Sense of fun!

Format:

Three simple test sites in one field. Walk and learn the tests prior to driving against the clock. Four attempts, then learn a second layout and repeat.

The only entry for trailered vehicles is as follows:

From Bodmin take the A30 for around 4 miles to the TEMPLE TOR over-bridge junction where you take the slip road just prior to it, then almost immediately turn left and go across the moor. Ignore the first turning left and continue the same sort of distance again until you come to the hamlet of BRADFORD where there is a very sharp left turn with a road going straight on, take the left turn and there’s about a 1/4 mile of narrow road again until you get back on the moor. Ignore the next turning left and  go through some house and down a short hill. At the bottom there is a turning right to St. Breward, ignore this. In about 1/4 mile there is a fork where you go right and in less than 1/4  mile further on turn right into the field. TAKE A WIDE SWEEP HERE.

If you had come via Blisland itself you would have approached from the other direction and wouldn’t be able to get a trailer into the field.

From the A30 at Launceston you obviously approach the TEMPLE TOR junction from the other direction, so go under it and slip off left and almost immediately turn left and follow the previous route.
